This season has been full of new things! In February I got married, which was a wonderful night, full of music and poetry and blizzards. That, of course, has been the best thing, but it happened in the middle of a huge wave of additional great news.

In the fall I found out that I had been awarded both a Hedgebrook Residency and a residency at the Millay Colony for the Arts. Those two experiences will bookend my summer. I’ll be at Millay in April, and Hedgebrook in August.

Over the winter we held our sixth annual Emmet Otter Holiday show at the Hideout, this year we sold out two performances and were still turning folks away!

And, in March, I’ll be going to AWP2018 in Tampa, where I’ll be speaking on a panel titled “Fierce Muses: Inspiration During Times of Social Unrest.” I can’t wait to read from my book-in-progress and hear the wisdom of the other panelists.
